Partner Agency Frequently Asked Questions

We only distribute products through nonprofit partner agencies. Keep reading if you are affiliated with an organization that may want to partner with us to receive products for the folks you serve.

WHAT DOES A PARTNERSHIP WITH TIDAL BABE LOOK LIKE?

A good place to start to get a feel for partnership would be with the Partner Agency Manual we use for both Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank and Tidal Babe Period Bank. Look for the “Partner Agency Collaborative Agreement” to find the annual requirements.

HOW DO I APPLY TO BECOME A PARTNER AGENCY?

We are not currently accepting applications for new partner agencies. To express interest, please reach out to our Support Coordinator (info@sweetcheeksdiaperbank.org).

When an application is available, we plan to list it here.

WHAT IS THE APPLICATION PROCESS LIKE?

When you express interest via email or fill out an application, your organization will be saved on a list of potential partners. When capacity allows, ideally once or twice per year, we review this list and add new partners based upon our capacity and our current priorities in addressing diaper need. New partners will have a training session to get things started.

IS THERE A FEE TO BE A PARTNER AGENCY?

There is a small annual fee to be a partner agency of Tidal Babe Period Bank, based on the number of clients you want to serve each month. You can find the different tiers of distribution and associated fees in our Partner Agency Manual in the Partner Agency Collaborative Agreement section.

ARE YOU FLEXIBLE WITH THE PARTNER AGENCY FEE PAYMENT?

We sure are. We prefer your annual fee be paid within 60 days of becoming a partner agency, and then within 60 days of re-upping our annual agreement. However, we know funding, fundraisers, donors, etc. can be seasonal or cyclical. If you need to pay your fee later, or break it up into smaller payments that’s totally fine with us. We also don’t mind if someone else pays your annual fee on behalf of your organization. We’ve seen groups have great success asking a corporate sponsor, volunteer, or superstar donor to cover the agency fee for a year. What a great way to spread awareness of period need and give a donor something really special and meaningful to fund. (We also provide your agency with data around period distribution outcomes, making it easy for you to share the impact with those donors at the end of the year! HOW DO I REQUEST PERIOD SUPPLIES?

Once you’re approved as a partner agency, you will be able to log in to our ordering system at HumanEssentials.app. That’s how you will order products for your clients each month. And don’t worry–we’ll walk you through it all! 

WHAT WILL MY CLIENTS GET EACH MONTH?

Each client receives 1 period supply kit each month. Each kit contains 20 pads or tampons and 5 liners. We also typically have menstrual cup kits available for order.

HOW ARE THE PERIOD KITS PACKAGED?

The period kit components are packaged in a discreet brown paper bag that is sealed with a Tidal Babe Period Bank sticker.

HOW, WHERE, AND WHEN DO I GET THE PERIOD SUPPLY KITS FOR MY CLIENTS EACH MONTH?

HOW: Each partner agency is responsible for picking up their period kits from Tidal Babe Period Bank’s warehouse each month.

WHERE: Our warehouse is located at 1400 State Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45204. The building has our umbrella organization name on it: COVERD Greater Cincinnati.

WHEN: You will pick up period supply kits once a month. Once you’re an active agency you’ll be placed in a pickup group and given all pickup dates for the year.

DO YOU HAVE ANY DATA AROUND PERIOD DISTRIBUTION OUTCOMES?

We sure do! Every time someone receives a period kit for the first time, there is a brief survey they fill out. We collect and analyze that data and at the end of the year send you a report on the period supply outcomes for YOUR agency. You’ll be able to show exactly how providing period supplies has helped your clients, in their own words.
